In the concentrated juice industry, in order to greatly reduce the energy consumption of the juice evaporation process, a juice low-temperature heat pump parallel flow multi-effect evaporation system was innovatively designed, which combined the steam injection heat pump technology with two energy-saving measures of extracting extra steam preheated juice.
The simulation results of a low-temperature heat pump with concurrent flow three-effect evaporation system for concentrated orange juice show that when orange juice is preheated to 70℃, the injection coefficient of the heat pump is set to 0.7, and the exhaust position is set to the second effect, the consumption of raw steam can be saved up to 46%.
The low temperature heat pump co-flow multi-effect evaporation system using the above two energy saving measures is efficient and energy saving under the conditions of heat pump injection coefficient and extraction position, especially suitable for the evaporation of heat sensitive solution such as juice.
